Can we drink water during a workout?

Yes, you must drink water while workout, there is no fixed amount of how much you can drink, a minimum of 1 litre would be enough. And one important thing related to this is that make sure, you don’t consume whole water at once, drink it sip by sip throughout your workout slowly.

Water will push all types of nutrients which you are having from your diet throughout your body, whether its micronutrients (multivitamins & minerals) or macronutrients (carbs, proteins, and fats).

For example, if you are consuming eggs they will breakdown into amino acid, and during a workout, your muscle will get this amino acid with the help of water. This will protect your muscles from breakdown which is very important in bodybuilding.

But if you are training your abs you can cut some amount of water because you don’t want too much water in your stomach while squeezing abs, Air should come out properly while doing this exercise.
